Armored Probe Application Guide

The 330102-00-25-10-02-00 combines a 3300 XL 8 mm sensing probe with an armored cable arrangement. This configuration is selected when the cable path benefits from additional mechanical protection while maintaining the probe geometry and one-metre system lead defined by the suffix.

Mechanical Protection and Routing

The stainless protective armor helps shield the cable from incidental contact and demanding routing conditions. It does not remove the need for correct support, separation from hot surfaces and protection against crushing. The armor should follow a smooth path, and the transition areas near the probe and connector should not be forced into tight bends.

Recommended Installation Sequence

1. Compare the complete replacement suffix with the removed probe and confirm case length, cable length and connector type.
2. Clean the mounting location and inspect the target area before inserting the probe.
3. Position and lock the probe using the approved machinery procedure without twisting the armored cable.
4. Secure the cable at suitable intervals while allowing service access to the connector.
5. Complete the electrical and gap verification with the matched extension cable and Proximitor Sensor.
