International orders are normally supplied under EXW or CPT terms, as specified in the quotation or order confirmation. Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, the applicable trade term will be interpreted in accordance with Incoterms® 2020.
For an EXW order, the buyer is generally responsible for arranging and paying for collection, transportation, insurance, export and import formalities, customs duties, taxes, and other related charges from the agreed collection location.
For a CPT order, we arrange and pay for transportation to the named destination stated in the quotation or order confirmation. Risk transfers to the buyer when the goods are handed over to the first carrier, in accordance with the agreed Incoterms® 2020 rule.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the buyer remains responsible for destination-country import clearance, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and other destination charges.
The Incoterms® rule and named place stated in the quotation or order confirmation will take precedence over this general policy.
