ABB PM591-ETH is an AC500 Ethernet PLC CPU for modular machine and process automation. Compared with PM590-ETH, the PM591-ETH configuration provides larger program and integrated user data memory while retaining 24 V DC operation, an RJ45 Ethernet interface, configurable serial communication, battery-backed data retention and an LC display with function keys. It supports engineering access, TCP/IP and UDP/IP communication, Modbus TCP, an integrated web server and additional documented Ethernet services.
