This NSv probe is intended for non-contact shaft vibration and position measurement where small targets, narrow side-view clearance or confined mounting geometry make a standard 8 mm system difficult to apply. The armored construction protects the integral lead during routing, but electrical compatibility still depends on the complete NSv probe, extension cable and Proximitor Sensor combination.
