ABB TU531 is an S500 I/O terminal unit designed for AC500 modules that incorporate 115 to 230 V AC inputs and 120/230 V AC relay outputs. It uses screw terminals for secure front-access field wiring and provides forty terminals for signal and process-supply connections. The inserted I/O module is mechanically locked to the terminal unit and can be removed while the fixed field wiring remains in place. TU531 supports modular panel construction, relay-output integration and planned replacement work.
