3300 NSv Proximity Probe Features
The Bently Nevada 3300 NSv proximity probe and extension cable are fully compatible, both mechanically and electrically, with the prior 3300 RAM series. Offering enhanced chemical resistance, the 3300 NSv probe is well-suited for demanding process compressor applications. When properly gapped, it delivers superior side-view performance compared to the 3000-series 190 probe. Available in various configurations, the 3300 NSv includes armored and unarmored probe threads such as 14-28, 3/8-24, M8 x 1, and M10 x 1, with the reverse mount versions typically using 3/8-24 or M10 x 1 threads. The system features gold-plated brass ClickLoc connectors that securely lock in place to prevent slipping, ensuring reliable signal integrity. Bently Nevada’s proprietary TipLoc molding firmly attaches the probe tip to the body, while the CableLoc design fastens the probe cable to the tip with a strong pull force of 220 N (50 lb). Connectors protect both the cable-to-sensor and probe-to-extension cable connections, enhancing durability and system reliability in harsh industrial environments.
