Installation & Wiring
- Mechanical Threading: Thread the 3/8-24 UNF-2A probe body directly into the machine casing bracket until reaching the intended measuring gap.
- Locknut Tensioning: Torque the dual locknuts to the recommended 11.2 N•m (100 in•lbf) rating to maintain permanent positioning balance under continuous vibration.
- Connector Connection: Interlock the gold-plated male ClickLoc coaxial connector with the female extension cable end until an audible click confirms connection.
- Protector Alignment: Slide the pre-installed fluorosilicone connector protector housing over the joined junction path to prevent fluid contaminants from bridging the line.
- Field Component Wiring: Connect the three-conductor shielded triad field cable to the corresponding Proximitor sensor terminal block strips using the tool-free SpringLoc mechanisms.
