The OMRON W4S1-03B is an industrial switching hub designed for factory-automation networks. It provides three RJ45 ports for 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX communications and supports Auto MDI/MDI-X, Auto-Negotiation and Store-and-Forward switching.
Its QoS function gives priority to EtherNet/IP implicit messages. The W4S1-03B is an unmanaged switch: SNMP, VLAN, STP, IGMP Snooping and port mirroring are not supported, so procurement checks should focus on the required port count, 24 VDC power, installation space and network architecture.
