Enhanced Durability and Design of the 3300 XL Probe and Extension Cable
The 3300 XL probe and extension cable incorporate several improvements over earlier designs to enhance durability and reliability. A patented TipLoc molding method creates a strong, robust bond between the probe tip and the probe body, ensuring long-lasting performance even in demanding environments. Additionally, the probe cable features Bently Nevada’s patented CableLoc design, which provides an impressive pull strength of 330 N (75 lbf). This secure attachment between the probe cable and tip reduces the risk of damage or disconnection during operation, increasing system uptime and reliability.
An optional FluidLoc cable upgrade is also available for the 3300 XL 8 mm probes and extension cables. This FluidLoc option is designed to prevent oil and other liquids from leaking out of the machine through the cable’s interior, which is especially important in applications involving lubricated machinery. Together, these design enhancements make the 3300 XL probe and extension cable well-suited for harsh industrial environments, offering increased protection and longevity for critical monitoring equipment.
