3300 XL Proximitor Sensor Features
The 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor introduces significant advancements over earlier models, including SpringLoc terminal strips that eliminate the need for special tools and improve field wiring by removing screw-type clamps that may loosen over time. Its versatile physical design supports both high-density DIN-rail installations and traditional panel mounting, sharing the same 4-hole mounting footprint as previous Proximitor Sensors. The sensor’s mounting base provides electrical isolation, removing the necessity for separate isolator plates. Additionally, the 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor offers enhanced immunity to radio frequency interference (RFI), enabling installation within fiberglass housings without signal degradation. Its superior RFI/EMI resistance complies with European CE mark standards, eliminating the need for shielded conduits or metallic enclosures, which helps reduce installation costs and complexity while ensuring reliable operation in electrically noisy environments.
