Robust Design and Protection in Bently Nevada Proximity Probes
Bently Nevada's proximity probes incorporate the patented TipLoc molding method, which creates an exceptionally robust bond between the probe tip and body, ensuring mechanical integrity in demanding environments. Complementing this is the innovative CableLoc design, providing a remarkable 220 N (50 lb) of cable pull strength to securely fasten the cable to the probe tip. For optimal signal integrity, connector protectors are strongly recommended at both the probe-to-extension cable and cable-to-Proximitor Sensor connections. These protective accessories effectively prevent liquids from penetrating the ClickLoc connectors, safeguarding the electrical signals from contamination and maintaining reliable system performance. These engineered features collectively enhance the durability and long-term reliability of the transducer systems in challenging industrial applications.
