Extended Temperature Range (ETR) Applications
For demanding environments where temperatures exceed the standard 177˚C (350˚F) limit, extended temperature range (ETR) probes and extension cables are available. The ETR probe is rated for temperatures up to 218˚C (425˚F), while the ETR extension cable can withstand up to 260˚C (500˚F). These components are designed to be compatible with standard probes and cables, allowing, for example, an ETR probe to be used with a standard 330130 extension cable. The entire ETR system operates with the standard 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor, ensuring integration without additional modifications. However, it is important to note that when any ETR component is used, the overall system accuracy is limited to the accuracy level of the ETR system itself. This balance ensures reliable performance in extreme temperature conditions while maintaining system integrity.
