Extended Temperature Range Capabilities for High-Thermal Applications
Bently Nevada offers Extended Temperature Range (ETR) Probes and Extension Cables designed for environments where probe leads or cables may exceed the standard 177 °C (350 °F) limit. The ETR Probe supports temperatures up to 260 °C (500 °F) for its lead and connector, though the probe tip must remain under 177 °C. Similarly, the ETR Extension Cable is rated for 260 °C, ensuring reliable performance in extreme heat. Both ETR components maintain full compatibility with standard probes and cables—for instance, an ETR probe can connect to a 330130 extension cable. When integrated into a monitoring system using the standard 3300 XL Proximitor® Sensor, the overall accuracy conforms to the ETR system’s specifications, providing flexibility and safety in high-temperature industrial applications.
