Advanced Connector and High-Temperature Solutions
The connectors feature a specially-engineered locking mechanism that prevents loosening and requires only finger-tight torque for installation, producing an audible click when properly secured. This design eliminates the need for special tools during installation or removal. Connector shields are available either pre-attached to extension cables and probes, or separately for field installations requiring cable routing through restrictive conduits. For enhanced environmental protection, connector protectors are recommended for all applications. For high-temperature environments exceeding the standard 177°C (350°F) limit, an Extended Temperature Range (ETR) system is offered, comprising probes rated to 218°C (425°F) and extension cables rated to 260°C (500°F). These ETR components maintain full compatibility with standard temperature probes and cables, allowing flexible system configuration. However, incorporating any ETR component will align the system's accuracy performance with ETR specifications, which is an important consideration for precision-critical applications.
