8 mm Probes

The 8 mm probes feature a thicker encapsulation of the probe coil within molded PPS plastic, resulting in significantly improved ruggedness. We strongly recommend using 8 mm probes whenever possible to ensure optimal resistance against physical abuse in demanding industrial environments. Each 3300 XL extension cable includes silicone tape that can serve as an alternative to connector protectors. However, this tape is not recommended for applications where the probe-to-extension cable connection may be exposed to turbine oil, as it may not provide adequate protection against this specific fluid. For such applications, proper connector protectors should be used to maintain system integrity.
