Multi-Core Cable Configuration for Output Modules


This application requires two multi-core cables for connecting output signals. Multi-core 1 features two 96-way type 'C' connectors in a double-width hood at the chassis end, while the opposite end terminates as a flying lead for flexible field termination. Multi-core 2 has a 6-way AMP plug at the non-chassis end, containing five individual 2.5 mm wires within Rilgain sleeving for field power connection from T8290 or T8297 units. Flying leads include identity ferrules marked CH1-CH3 for channels and V FIELD RTNGRP1-5 for group references. The 0 V connections at the flying leads provide module voltage reference and must connect to field 0 Volts.
