DC-TDOD51 Functional Description

The DC-TDOD51 Honeywell DCS MODULE is a 24V DC bussed digital output module designed for Experion Series C systems, providing reliable non-redundant control with all outputs sharing a common return.

It supports both internal and external field power excitation, allowing flexible configuration based on system requirements. When using an external source, the IOTA model Honeywell DC-TDOD51 outputs are galvanically isolated from the Series C power system, ensuring safe and stable operation.

The DC-TDOD51 Honeywell Buss Iota Control Module allows selection of output reference through the IOTA wiring, enabling outputs to be powered by either the system supply or an external 24V source. The DC-TDOD51 Honeywell Digital Output Module simplifies integration into existing control architectures.

With FAILOPT support on a per-channel basis, the Digital Output IOTA DC-TDOD51 Honeywell can hold the last value or shed to a user-defined safe value, offering additional safety and operational reliability for critical automation applications.
