3300 XL Transducer Systems
The 3300 XL 8 mm system generates an output voltage directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and target surface, enabling precise measurement of both static position and dynamic vibration parameters. Specifically designed for fluid-film bearing machinery monitoring, this system excels in vibration measurement, position detection, Keyphasor reference signaling, and speed measurement applications. It represents the most advanced eddy current transducer technology available, offering full compliance with API 670 Standard (4th Edition) requirements for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability. A significant advantage of this system is the complete interchangeability of probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, which eliminates the need for individual component matching or bench calibration. Furthermore, all 3300 XL 8 mm system components maintain backward compatibility with non-XL 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm transducer system components, including the 3300 5 mm probe that is specifically designed for applications where space constraints prevent the use of standard 8 mm probes. This compatibility ensures flexible system configuration and easy integration with existing monitoring setups.
