Kinetix 5500 Servo Drives
The Kinetix 5500 servo drives deliver Integrated Motion over EtherNet/IP™, supporting power ranges from 0.2–14.6 kW and current outputs of 1.4–32.5 A (0-pk). These drives seamlessly integrate with ControlLogix® 5570/5580, GuardLogix® 5570, CompactLogix™ 5370, and Compact GuardLogix 5370 controllers, offering flexible motion control solutions. For detailed setup, wiring, and troubleshooting, refer to the Kinetix 5500 Servo Drives User Manual (2198-UM001). Safety features include Safe Torque-Off (STO), with hardwired drives requiring an STO connector (shipped without a protective cover) while integrated STO models include the cover. When mounting in single-axis configurations, ensure proper clearance for cables, shared-bus connections, and adjacent equipment—maintaining at least 300 mm (11.81 in.) cabinet depth for optimal performance.
