Key Features of the Siemens SIPOS5Flash Electric Actuator
The Siemens SIPOS5Flash series electric actuator, developed in Germany, offers advanced functionality to meet diverse industrial needs. It includes electronic protection with automatic correction of power supply phase sequence, and supports a supply frequency range of 47–63Hz. The control unit’s 24VDC power can be externally or internally sourced. Equipped with a 4–20mA feedback signal, it allows continuous adjustment of both “fully open” and “fully closed” travel limits. Users can set the shut-off torque from 30% to 100% of maximum output in 10% steps. Additionally, the full stroke time is user-configurable across seven ranges with a step factor of 1.4. The actuator also provides automatic status indication and integrated fault self-diagnosis, detecting issues such as 4–20mA input signal failures.
