990 Vibration Transmitter
The Bently Nevada 990 Vibration Transmitter is a versatile two-wire device that integrates a Proximitor Sensor, eliminating the need for external units while delivering reliable 4-20mA vibration monitoring for industrial machinery. Its compact design features diagnostic outputs including non-isolated "PROX OUT" terminals and a coaxial connector for dynamic vibration and gap voltage monitoring, enabling comprehensive system diagnostics. The transmitter simplifies calibration with conveniently accessible, non-interacting zero and span adjustment potentiometers located beneath its label. A dedicated Test Input pin allows quick verification of the loop output using a function generator, streamlining maintenance procedures. The integrated Not OK/Signal Defeat circuit enhances operational reliability by preventing false alarms caused by probe faults or connection issues. Designed for flexible installation, the 990 transmitter offers both 35mm DIN rail clips and bulkhead mounting options to accommodate various panel configurations. These robust features combine to create a highly reliable solution for OEMs of compressors, pumps, and motors, providing accurate vibration data for machinery protection systems while maintaining simplicity in installation and operation.
