3300 XL Extended Temperature Range (ETR) Monitoring Solution
The Bently Nevada 3300 XL Extended Temperature Range (ETR) system is engineered to provide reliable machinery monitoring in extreme heat environments where standard components fail. The ETR probe can withstand temperatures up to 218°C (425°F), while its companion extension cable endures temperatures as high as 260°C (500°F), surpassing the typical 177°C (350°F) limit of conventional systems. Designed for backward compatibility, the ETR components integrate seamlessly with standard 3300 XL Proximitor sensors and cables, allowing flexible installation options. Although incorporating any ETR part limits overall system accuracy to ETR specifications, this solution is essential for high-temperature areas such as gas turbines and compressors. By combining specialized high-temperature materials with proven eddy-current technology, the ETR system ensures continuous, accurate vibration and position data even in the harshest thermal conditions. This enhances predictive maintenance capabilities and protects critical machinery where conventional monitoring solutions would be compromised.
