3300 NSv Transducer System: Robust Connectivity and Protection
The transducer system features gold-plated brass ClickLoc connectors across all components, ensuring superior electrical conductivity and a secure, locked connection that resists loosening under vibration. The probe assembly incorporates the patented TipLoc molding process, creating a highly durable bond between the probe tip and body. For maximum cable retention, the patented CableLoc design provides 220 N (50 lb) of pull strength, securely fastening the cable to the probe tip. To safeguard electrical signal integrity, connector protectors are strongly recommended for both the probe-to-extension cable and cable-to-Proximitor Sensor connections, effectively preventing most liquids from ingress. Alternatively, silicone tape supplied with each extension cable can be used, except in applications exposed to turbine oil. It is also noted that Proximitor Sensors are factory-calibrated for AISI 4140 steel, with calibrations for other materials available upon request.
