Enhanced Reliability in High-Temperature Environments
The Extended Temperature Range (ETR) configuration is designed for applications where standard probes and cables may not withstand elevated temperatures. The ETR probe is rated for continuous use at temperatures up to 218°C (425°F), significantly beyond the 177°C (350°F) limit of standard systems. This allows for reliable performance in more demanding industrial conditions.
To complement the ETR probe, an ETR extension cable is also available. This cable is capable of operating in temperatures up to 260°C (500°F), ensuring that the system can maintain signal integrity and mechanical stability even in extreme thermal environments. These components are backward compatible, meaning an ETR probe can be used with standard cables, such as the 330130 extension cable.
The ETR system uses the standard 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor, providing installation flexibility. However, it's important to note that incorporating any ETR component into your setup will limit the system’s accuracy to that of the ETR specifications.
