ETR Probes and Cables
For applications where either the probe lead or extension cable may exceed standard temperature limits, an Extended Temperature Range (ETR) probe and ETR extension cable are available. The ETR probe is rated for temperatures up to 218˚C (425˚F), while the ETR extension cable can withstand up to 260˚C (500˚F). Both components are fully compatible with standard temperature probes and cables, allowing flexible system configurations. For example, an ETR probe can be used with a 330130 extension cable without requiring additional modifications. The ETR system utilizes the standard 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor, ensuring consistency in system design and installation. It is important to note that when any ETR component is incorporated into the system, the overall system accuracy is determined by the ETR component’s specifications. This allows users to achieve reliable performance in high-temperature environments while maintaining compatibility with existing 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor systems, providing robust monitoring solutions for industrial machinery operating under extreme conditions.
