Extended Temperature Range (ETR) Probes and Cables for High-Temperature Applications
The Bently Nevada offers Extended Temperature Range (ETR) probes and ETR extension cables specifically designed for applications where environmental temperatures exceed the standard 177°C (350°F) operational limit. The ETR probe features an elevated temperature rating of up to 218°C (425°F), while the ETR extension cable supports even more extreme conditions up to 260°C (500°F). Both components maintain full compatibility with standard temperature probes and cables, allowing flexible configurations such as pairing an ETR probe with a conventional 330130 extension cable. These ETR products integrate seamlessly with the standard 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor, ensuring consistent system functionality. However, when any ETR component is incorporated into the monitoring system, the overall accuracy is constrained by the ETR system’s specifications rather than those of standard components. This solution provides critical reliability for high-temperature industrial processes, including gas turbines, steam systems, and heavy machinery, where thermal resilience is essential for continuous operation and accurate vibration monitoring.
