1769-OB32 Functional Description
The 1769 Series Allen-Bradley PLC I/O Module 1769-OB32 is a high-density 32-point DC sourcing output module designed for CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1500 systems. It features two isolated groups of 16 outputs, making it ideal for applications requiring numerous outputs in limited space. This Machine Control 1769-OB32 Allen-Bradley operates within a voltage range of 20.4–26.4V DC with a maximum current of 0.5A per point.
Each channel offers fast switching, with an ON delay of 0.5ms and an OFF delay of 4ms. The AB 1769-OB32 24VDC Output Module supports both solid (14-22 AWG) and stranded (16-22 AWG) copper wiring, and requires proper alignment during installation for reliable backplane connection.
With a power supply distance rating of six modules, the ROCKWELL 1769-OB32 CompactLogix controllers and MicroLogix 1500 controllers ensures stable performance when installed within the specified distance from the power source. It dissipates up to 4.5W of heat and operates effectively in temperatures up to 60°C.
