Fully compatible with the VM600 series rack system, this unit works seamlessly with CMS software to deliver high-resolution spectral analysis and stable industrial data acquisition.

  • Dynamic Inputs and A/D Conversion: Features 16 parallel channels with individual 14-bit Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs) per channel, achieving a maximum sampling rate of 51.2 kHz and a maximum frequency span of 20 kHz. Data transmitted to the host PC is truncated to 12 bits plus a sign bit, offering a standard resolution of 1 in 4096.
  • Signal Accuracy and Filtering: Delivers an AC and DC voltage-based measurement accuracy within 1% of the input Full Scale Deflection (FSD), and a current-based DC accuracy of 2% (improving to 1% with external resistors). Incorporates 16 programmable tracked anti-aliasing filters providing 70 dB of signal attenuation at frequencies greater than 1.56 times the cutoff frequency.
  • Flexible Channel Assignment: The first 4 dynamic channels are fully configurable as tachometer or phase reference inputs supporting machine speeds from 15 RPM up to 30,000 RPM with a triggering range of 1 to 24 V pulse. The final 12 channels can be independently reassigned to handle quasi-static process values or standard dynamic signals.
  • On-Board Processing and Memory: Driven by a Zilog Z8S180 micro-controller and a Motorola 56002 Digital Signal Processor (DSP) to handle real-time Fast Fourier Transforms (FFT) supporting high resolutions up to 3200 lines. Includes 1 MByte of on-board RAM buffer storage capable of holding 3,276 transient values per channel and up to 26,200 historic trend values for the entire card.
  • Power and Physical Footprint: Operates on a standard supply voltage of 5 VDC ±5% with a maximum total power consumption of 15 W. Built around a standard VMEbus architecture with a physical card profile measuring 6 U in height (262 mm), 20 mm in width, and 187 mm in depth, weighing a total of 0.35 kg.
