1785-LT/B Functional Description

The 1785-LT Prosessor Module is a versatile Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) from the Allen-Bradley PLC 5 series, designed for high-performance automation systems. This 1785-LT Prosessor Module supports up to four local racks, with one being the resident rack, and can connect to three remote I/O racks, accommodating up to twelve devices. It is equipped with a standalone Scanner port for local and remote I/O connections, as well as a Data Highway Plus (DH+) port that can link to HMIs, SCADA systems, and co-processors, while supporting third-party devices.

The 1785-LT Prosessor Module features an embedded memory of 6K words, expandable up to 14K words. Optional memory modules, such as the 4K RAM (1785-MR) and 8K EEPROM (1785-MJ), allow for further memory expansion. This PLC can handle up to 512 I/O points, either in combination or split between inputs and outputs, using 16 or 32-channel I/O modules.

The 1785-LT Prosessor Module is designed for demanding industrial environments, with an operating temperature range of 0-60°C (32-140°F) and high shock resistance. It also meets strict Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards and includes electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. With its robust features, the 1785-LT Prosessor Module ensures reliable operation in harsh conditions and is suitable for complex control and automation applications.
