Encoder Interface Technical Specifications
The encoder interface supports CH A, CH B, and CH Z channels, compatible with both differential and single-ended configurations. It provides two short-circuit-proof output voltages: +24 V DC ±10% (5 W max) and +15 V DC ±10% (5 W max). Signal levels are defined as >7.6 V for "1" and <5 V for "0" under 15 V supply, and >12.2 V for "1" and <8 V for "0" under 24 V supply. The interface operates at a maximum frequency of 200 kHz, delivering high-speed feedback with a resolution of 0.00305% (15 bits) and an accuracy of 50 ppm. Maximum encoder cable lengths are 300 m for differential push-pull, 200 m for single-ended push-pull, and 100 m for open collector/emitter configurations. The module is fully isolated from logic and earth, tested at 1.5 kV AC for 1 minute to ensure safety and reliability in industrial environments.
